The two most authentic books of Hadeeth

Of all the works of Hadeeth, Saheeh Al-Bukhaari and Saheeh Muslim are regarded as the most authentic and authoritative books, after Al-Quran. Indeed the very word "Saheeh" means "authentic". Saheeh Al-Bukhaari was compiled by Imaam (leader) of Hadeeth, Mohammad Ibn Ismaa'eel Al-Bukhaari, born 194H in Bukhaara, central Asia. He traveled at an early age seeking knowledge to Hijaaz (Makkaah and Madeenah), Ancient Syria, Iraq Egypt etc. He  may  Allaah  have  mercy  upon  him devoted more than 16 years of his life to the actual compilation of this work.

Etiquette and behavior towards Allaah

A Muslim thinks about the countless blessings that Allaah has bestowed upon him. He considers the numerous bounties that Allaah has given him -- from the time that he was a “drop of fluid” in his mother’s womb. These bounties continue until he meets His Lord. Therefore, a Muslim must thank Allaah for these bounties with his tongue, by praising Him in a proper manner. He must also thank Him with his limbs by using them in obedience to Him. This is how he should behave towards Allaah.

The Book of Allah is the rain that brings forth true life on Earth.

I bear witness that there is no deity besides Allah—alone, who has no partner, no equal; Lord of the Messengers, Creator of the heavens and the earths. I bear witness that Muhammad is His devoted-servant and His Messenger sent with a Clear Book that separates guidance from misguidance, deception from righteousness, and conjectures from certainty.

The story of Prophet Eesaa -II

In the first part of the Story of Prophet 'Eesaa (Jesus)  may  Allaah  exalt  his  mention we highlighted the most important events in his life: his miraculous birth, his childhood, the opposition of the Jewish authorities to his mission, his miracles, etc. Here we continue his story:

Prophet 'Eesaa  may  Allaah  exalt  his  mention continued calling people to Almighty Allaah and laying down for them what might be called the 'Law of the Spirit.' Once, when standing on a mountain surrounded by his disciples, 'Eesaa  may  Allaah  exalt  his  mention saw that those who believed in him were from among the poor, the wretched, and the downtrodden, and their number was small. Some of the miracles which 'Eesaa  may  Allaah  exalt  his  mention performed had been requested by his disciples, such as their wish for a 'holy table-spread' to be sent down from heaven.

Muslim woman tells Melbourne Islamophobia forum 'racism hurts'

Nasrin Amin did not know Martin Place gunman Man Haron Monis but during December's deadly siege the Melbourne IT worker said she felt his actions personally.

"I was returning from work on the train — a lady started pushing me with her bag and she started yelling at me and telling me to go back to the Middle East. I didn't come from the Middle East," the petite and softly spoken mother of three said.

Ms Amin is originally from Bangladesh, but has been in Australia since 1991.

The story of Prophet Eesaa -I

While Maryam (Mary), may Allaah exalt her mention, was praying in her place of worship, an angel in the form of a man appeared before her. Filled with terror, she tried to flee, praying (what means): "…'Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allaah.' He said: 'I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy [i.e., son].' She said: 'How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?' He said: 'Thus [it will be]; your Lord says: 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed.''" [Quran: 19:18-21]

The Status of the Sunnah in Islam

The Role of the Sunnah towards the Quran:

The Sunnah cannot dispense with the Quran: Allah Almighty chose Muhammad  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allaah exalt his mention ) as His Prophet and selected him to deliver His final message. The Quran was revealed to the Prophet  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allaah exalt his mention ) in which Allah commanded him to obey everything that was ordered of him; that is, to convey and explain His message to the people.
