Evidence of Prophethood

Alphonse de LaMartaine in 'Historie de la Turquie,' Paris, 1854.

Environment

The Prophet (peace be upon him) recognized the importance of looking after the environment. He taught that human beings were God’s agents on Earth and it was their duty to protect it.
On one occasion, he (peace be upon him) said:
“The world is green and beautiful, and God has appointed you his guardian over it.” (Sahih Muslim)
He encouraged the believers to plant trees and regarded it a sin to destroy it without an acceptable reason.
He (peace be upon him) said:

Prophet (peace be upon him) taught that harming, abusing or beating animals was a sinful act and caused the displeasure of Allah. However, protecting animals, showing mercy and kindness to them were good actions, which God would reward.
He (peace be upon him) said that a Muslim was responsible for the care of animals, so much so that an ill-treated animal will testify against the one who abused it on the Day of Judgment.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) was a mercy for all humanity. Allah, the Exalted, described him as such, saying:
"And We did not send you [O Muhammad] but as a mercy to the worlds." (21:107)
And the Prophet (peace be upon him) himself said, "Indeed, I was sent as a mercy." (Muslim)

The Prophet (peace be upon him), fourteen centuries ago, through Divine Revelation, mentioned that women were equal in their faith and humanity with men.
Allah states in the Qur'an:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) is the model for the whole of humankind. His attitude towards children was always compassionate and merciful. Being fond of children, the Prophet (peace be upon him) showed great interest in playing with them.
Anas ibn Malik (peace be upon him), the close companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him), mentioned:

1.Sending prayers upon the Prophet (peace be upon him).

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: ‘Whoever sends a prayer upon me, Allah sends ten upon him.’ (Muslim)

Prayer said in the Morning
(i) ‘O Allah, by your leave we have reached the morning and by Your leave we have reached the evening, by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our resurrection.’ In the evening: (ii) ‘O Allah, by Your leave we have reached the evening and by Your leave we have reached the morning, by Your leave we live and die and unto You is our return.’

Prayer before going to sleep

When retiring to his bed every night, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would hold his palms together, spit in them, recite the last three chapters of the Qur’an and then wipe over his entire body as much as possible with his hands, beginning with his head and face and then all parts of the body, he would do this three times.’ (al-Bukhari and Muslim)
